Lessons on Leadership with Jeff Henderson
What do the Atlanta Braves, Chick-fil-A, and North Point Church have in common?
They are all in Atlanta.
But also Jeff Henderson.
Forbes Magazine named Jeff Henderson as one of the 20 speakers you shouldn’t miss, and he has become a trusted voice for businesses and non-profit organizations.
Henderson is the author of two books, What to Do Next: Taking Your Best Step When Life Is Uncertain, and Know What You're FOR: A Growth Strategy for Work, An Even Better Strategy for Life.
Today, Jeff leads Leadership Innovation & Strategy for Chick-fil-A nationally. While his career included an early stint at Chick-fil-A, he worked for the Atlanta Braves and led three different North Point Ministries churches along the way.
Earlier this year, I was speaking at a conference in Atlanta hosted by Chick-fil-A. The moment I heard Jeff speak, I knew I wanted him on the podcast – I knew he would be a blessing to our listeners.
We were honored to welcome Jeff to the podcast recently, and I was blown away. You know when you listen to a podcast, and it’s so good you keep pausing it to take notes? Our recent interview has been that for me. You would think that, having led the interview, I would remember everything we talked about, but there is so much that goes into producing a podcast that I often find myself learning lessons from interviews when I go back and listen to them.
You’re in for a treat this week with our interview of Jeff Henderson. Listen today:

Sustainer Growth Coaching Program
I’ve just opened up applications for our Sustainer Growth Coaching Program. It’s a six-month coaching program for nonprofit leaders who want to take their sustainer programs to the next level.
If you have between 100 and 1 Million donors giving monthly, want to grow your recurring revenue by double digits, and are coachable, just hit “Reply,” mention you are interested in the program, and I can send you details. You can also fill out an interest form at www.imago.consulting/coaching.
The next session will start in January, and applications will close here in the next couple of weeks, so if you are interested, let me know.
Until next week… Surfs Up! 🌊

P.S. With Halloween having been just yesterday, if you want to know how into Chick-fil-A we are, my girls were recently asked to do a “Trunk or Treat” at their local gym, and here’s what they pulled together. Until next week… EAT MOR CANDY. 🐄
